Direct, Indirect and Storm Water Discharge Permitting

EPA and state regulations for water discharge permitting can be overwhelming to keep up with especially as states develop water permitting programs that go beyond the federal requirements. Permitting for industrial sources under these programs are often very specific to particular industries and/or processes and vary by state. Clean Water Act permitting requirements differ greatly for direct dischargers and those that discharge to POTWs and can include requirements for storm water discharges as well.

Pollution Prevention Assessments and Wastewater Engineering

In many cases, pollution prevention assessments are conducted to eliminate or minimize the impact of sources of pollution through material substitution, process modification or enhanced operations and maintenance program implementation.
