Travis Neff is an Air Quality Scientist for Avogadro Environmental Corporation.
As a technician in the Testing Division, Mr. Neff works as part of the field teams and utilizes USEPA test methods enumerated in 40 CFR 60 to complete client diagnostic and compliance emissions test programs. In this role, he participates in field events involving sampling for particulate matter, PM10, metals, dioxins/furans, hydrogen chloride, hexavalant chromium, ammonia, acetaldehyde / formaldehyde, NOx, CO and VOC. He assists field tem leaders and project managers to keep projects on time and cost-effective. Mr. Neff also ensures that quality samples and data are acquired from a job site in an unbiased and accurate manner. He is called upon to reduce field test data and prepare chains of custody for samples. Mr. Neff prepares packing lists and cleans and stages equipment for upcoming stack test projects.
He routinely conducts CGA audits on a variety of extractive CEM systems. Other responsibilities include providing routine maintenance to Avogadro’s mobile CEM laboratories and repair to test equipment in Avogadro’s shop.
His formal training includes a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY. He is fluent in Spanish and has current registration in the OSHA 40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER).
