Health & Safety Programs
As part of Avogadro's corporate health and safety program, the various facets of Health and Safety Compliance are addressed. In order to maintain applicable OSHA training requirements, the following programs are utilized by Avogadro employees.
- All employees are required to have the OSHA 40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training and maintain the annual 8-hour refresher training.
- All employees participate in a corporate medical monitoring program.
- All employees are issued the Stack Testers Safety Manual; this training booklet outlines proper safety procedures that are job-specific to the stationary source evaluation service industry.
- All employees are issued half-face respirators and are trained and fit- tested in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.134.
- All employees are issued various types of hearing protection and are trained in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.95.
- All employees utilize proper eye and head protection in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.133 and 135.
- All employees receive Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA), Part 46 training initially and annually in order to work in various mining facilities.

As a result of our commitment to aggressive enforcing all of the components of our formal safety program, we are proud to announce that our insurance company has issued Avogadro a 5% credit mod rate. This is based on the fact that we have operated for 10 years without a serious accident at the office or in the field.
